(CC) Ron Paul's take on Rising Oil and Gas Prices (1-5-2008)

At the New Hampshire GOP Debates, Charles Gibson asked a question about the rising costs of Oil and Gas prices, and Ron Paul responded, noting that the inflation and devaluation of the dollar plays a significant role in why costs keep escalating. I remember when I first started driving, gas was at $1.25 a gallon or so, and none of us will ever forget that summer of 2008 when gas was close to $4.00 a gallon.

The rest of the world pays far more for gasoline than we do, and I realize that. At the same time, it is clear that inflation and the constant printing of new money contributes towards rising prices in the supermarket, gas stations, and energy bills. The poor, the middle class, and those on fixed incomes are the ones that suffer the most from this hidden tax, which some call the Inflation Tax.

(CC) Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) Grills Federal Reserve Attorney On "Audit The Fed" Bill

Alan Grayson (D-FL) is one of Ron Paul's staunchest allies when it comes to H.R. 1207, the "Audit The Fed" bill. This bill was discussed in Congress during hearings yesterday (9-25-2009), and when it is Grayson's turn to question the attorney of the Federal Reserve, he does so through rapid-fire questioning. One can observe how nervous the attorney is over relatively easy questions to answer.

Grayson is also the same representative that questioned the Inspector General of the Fed, Elizabeth Coleman, in a video that shocked many folks at how little even the Inspector General knew about the operations of the Federal Reserve.

The Revolution: A Slideshow

I came across this video for the first time today. It is a slideshow summary (with no narrator or voices) of the ideals expressed within Ron Paul's book called "The Revolution: A Manifesto", which is now in paperback for $10.19 online at Amazon. The video runs 10 minutes long, but is very detailed and covers a variety of issues about the similarity of Democrats and Republicans in foreign policy, the economy, and civil liberties.

(CC) Time Magazine Interviews Ron Paul, who says that Obama has neutralized the Anti-War Left

In a very heavily edited interview by Time Magazine that took place on September 17, 2009, Ron Paul makes the statement that President Obama has neutralized the Anti-War Left, who have just, well, left. Paul is also asked about the income tax, the decriminalization of marijuana, The Fed, and conspiracy theories, amongst other topics.
